Square Bedroom Tariff 2011
Situated on the second floor opposite the Old bedroom the Square bedroom is 19ft square. The rooms main feature is its Elizabethan Yorkshire grand fireplace enscribed with the Latin 'Fixus Adversa Sperno' carved by the stonemasons. This is the Hamerton family motto which means "I Spern adversity": I will put up with anything! which is why we liked the motto, it kept us motivated through years of hard work restoring the Castle.
