From The North
To find Hellifield Peel Castle from the North, travel towards Settle on the A65 and then down through Long Preston to Hellifield. Turn right at the Black Horse Pub ONTO Gisburn Road until you reach a sharp right hand bend. There is a post box here and a chevron sign. Rather than following the bend go straight onto 'the Green' and keep going onto 'Peel Green'. You will pass a farm and through a wooden gate, over a cattle grid and then down a tree lined drive. Keep following this road and over a second cattle grid and straight on past a couple of cottages and at the end you will find Hellifield Peel Castle.
From the South
To find Hellifield Peel Castle from the South, travel towards Skipton then take the A65 sign posted to Kendal. Travel through Gargrave and Coniston Cold and then down the hill into Hellifield.
